This is a very fine example of the Waltham 1899 Bridge model produced for the E. Howard Co. in 1903. It is marked 21 jewels and has 3 visible diamond end stones and 3 more in the pillar plate under the dial.

This example has the correct E. Howard & Co. dial as well as the distinctive  case that has the Howard mark on the inside of the back cover but does not have the Keystone Howard engraved ring on the cuvette.

The serial number is H829569. The corresponding Waltham serial number is 11,029,569 from the run 11,029,501 to 11,029,700 recorded as "Bridge" 17-19  jewel OF. This discrepancy is one of many in the factory list following consolidation of runs.
