Front, Back, Back open, Bottom, Case signature

This table clock was made by Waltham Watch Co. for Ovington in New York by the Silver Crest Company.  The signature is difficult to read, but it says Silver Crest, Sterling Decorated Bronze.

The clock is an example of the many uses made of Waltham's standard 8 day 35 size movement. Waltham made a large number of designs themselves and, as in this case, many other clock makers found the movement a good complement to their own work.
