This Kelvin & White 2 day marine chronometer is fitted with Poole's middle temperature error corrections and is marked "compensated" on the dial.

The box appears to be the same design as the 8 day Kelvin & White example. When purchased the top lid had been replaced by a plywood approximation. The new lid and refinishing of the box was done by Shipsclock Cabinetry.

This machine was sold by Kelvin & White's Glasgow operation.
