The Riverside Maximus is actually the second highest grade in the 1894 Model. This model was also produced in the American Watch Co. Grade with a true center bridge design. The American Grade is very similar to the 1899 Model American Grade and the later 1908 Model Premier Maximus. However, the Riverside Maximus is a very fine grade and is roughly equivalent to the same Grade in the 1899 Model.

The two examples included here in the collection are very similar with the exception that one has an arabic numeral dial and the other has a roman numeral dial.
