Waltham made a number of two tone designs with combined nickel and gilt damaskeening on the plates. This pair of watches offer another view of this form of decoration that is more simple to execute. The watches show the effect of a nickel plate and a gilt-over-nickel plate. The English Preston's example is also in a good example of a late Dennison "Moon" grade case.
