15 jewel, stemwind, lever set, serial number 4,708,581, ca. 1890. American Waltham Watch Co. double sunk Arabic numeral dial. Gold filled open face case (recase). The 1883 model hunting case movements are essentially all lever set, but the open face movements are pendent set. Among the exceptions is this Gilt Damascened Appleton, Tracy Grade that is an open face lever set.
