Two 1888 19J OF Same Run. This pair of movements are from the same run of watches and illustrate some of the variations found between nominally identical watches. Even though these watches are from the same run they were not necessarily made at the same time. Watches were produced in batches of 10 and these examples with sn 5,000,323 and 5,000,368 would have been from two separate batches. The most obvious difference is the presence of a polished recess on the pallet bridge of x68 and a plain finish on x23.
